Join us this school holiday for a unique outdoor adventure on the farm, inspired by the legend of Henry VIII’s lost treasure!
Legend has it that during a royal journey through the countryside, Henry VIII’s horse and cart ran into trouble, scattering a collection of mysterious metal items and lost treasures across the land. Centuries later, they’re still waiting to be discovered…
Each child will be given their own metal detector and sent out across the search area to uncover hidden tokens buried in the fields. It’s a hands-on experience full of excitement, curiosity, and discovery as they see what they can find.
Once they’ve completed their hunt, children can return their finds to exchange them for a tasty edible prize.
A relaxed, family-friendly outdoor activity designed to get everyone exploring the farm, enjoying the fresh air, and trying something a little different.
Before beginning the metal detecting challenge, each child must make their way through Henry VIII’s Royal Maze.
Hidden somewhere inside is a special coin pouch, which they will need to collect before continuing the adventure. Once they have successfully found their way out, they can head into the metal detecting zones and begin searching for the King’s lost treasure.
It adds an extra challenge to the experience and makes the hunt feel like a real royal adventure from start to finish.
